    Colin and his business partner did a great job building my patio from scratch. At the beginning I was not sure how it was going to come out but as the work gradually progressed I could see that it was going to be a success. I was really impressed by the craftsmanship, the attention to details and the overall work ethics. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS.     Todd and his crew gave a competitive quote and did a stellar job. Everything looks great, they cleaned up afterward and I have received compliments on the new red cedar split rail fencing. I highly recommend them for your outdoor construction projects. See more See less

    We had a really great experience with Sunstone Construction! Our porch steps and retaining wall had began to separate and sink. Colin provided us with a fair and reasonable quote, but beyond that, the customer service was exceptional from the very beginning. The work is now complete and looks great. We are very happy with our experience and definitely plan to use Sunstone in the future for more projects. See more See less

    I’m extremely happy and impressed with the price and quality of our timber tech deck! Colin & Kyle were really easy to work with and made great suggestions on what could be done. Their workmanship was great! They weren’t happy unless it was completed to their standards. I decided to use them for my deck, because they had previously installed a paver brick patio and walkway, for a neighbor of mine, which turned out amazing. I would highly recommend them! I included photos of the original deck. It is so much safer for our grandkids and pups. See more See less

    We are extremely happy and impressed with the cost, and the quality of our new timber tech deck installed by sun stone construction. Colin and Kyle were very easy to work with and made great suggestions on what could be done. The workmanship was outstanding. They were not happy unless it was completed to their standards, which is hard to come by these days . Ours dogs and grandchildren have a safe deck to enjoy thanks to sunstone construction 😊 See more See less

    While I didn’t go ahead with the construction phase at this time, Colin was great to work with through the design consultation and estimation phase. Prices were given with full transparency, materials suggested were good and industry standard, and the design was beautiful as well.     I can't say enough about the experience I had with Sunstone Construction. I had very little vision as to what I wanted our patio to look like, but Colin and Kyle held my hand through the way, creating an absolute masterpiece. From the day we met, they made the process smooth and easy. They handled everything, I just needed to pick the out the materials. The computer-aided design truly helped me envision my dream patio. They communicated with me every step of the way and were very professional. They definitely have a passion for what they do and are very particular about the details in their work.     I've never had such a positive experience with a contractor from day 1. I have no idea how many other projects he was working on, because we felt like his one and only focus. Everytime we met, Colin was professional, on time, and enthusiastic about his work. His designs reflected his passion and creativity, and he never showed weariness when we asked him to revise anything with the plan. For an incredible, unique, beautiful patio - go with Colin.     Kyle & Colin from Sunstone were great to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the greater Detroit area. They were next door quoting a neighbors deck and I ended up randomly inviting them over to check out my current deck. Got a few quotes to benchmark overall cost. Theirs wasn’t the lowest nor the highest but the communications, explanation of process, attention to detail and just overall customer service with just the analysis / quotation process made me & my wife feel comfortable going with them. They did an amazing job and provided many good suggestions and options to build a deck that my family and friends will enjoy for many years to come. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around for Sunstone Construction and Kyle/Colin.     We had SunStone Construction completely redo our old deck with all new decking. It was a huge undertaking. These guys went above and beyond. They took time to explain everything. They were very knowledgeable about the product they were using. They worked so hard to ensure we were happy with the end results. I can’t say enough good things about Kyle and Colin. They made you feel like you were part of the family and perfection was their top priority. We would have them build us a house, that how much I trust these guys and their workmanship. I would highly recommend this company. Top notch in everything they do. Thank you for our beautiful deck and lighted staircase. We will enjoy this for many many years to come. You guys are the BEST!
